วุฒิชัย เหลืองอมรเลิศ ประธานสมาคมสวนสนุกโลกคนใหม่

พฤศจิกายน 2566: สมาคมสวนสนุกโลก (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions – IAAPA) มีมติแต่งตั้งนายวุฒิชัย เหลืองอมรเลิศ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารกลุ่มบริษัทสยามพาร์คซิตี้  ผู้ประกอบกิจการสยามอะเมซิ่งพาร์ค (สวนสยาม) และนายกสมาคมสวนสนุกและสวนพักผ่อนหย่อนใจ ขึ้นดำรงตำแหน่งประธานสมาคมสวนสนุกโลก (Chairman of the Board) วาระปี 2567 (1 มกราคม – 31 ธันวาคม 2567) ซึ่งเป็นคนไทยคนแรกและคนเอเชียคนที่สองที่ได้ดำรงตำแหน่งอันทรงเกียรตินี้

IAAPA เป็นเครือข่ายของผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพด้านแหล่งท่องเที่ยวทั่วโลกที่มีความหลากหลายและมีความสำคัญในฐานะสมาคมการค้าระหว่างประเทศที่ใหญ่ที่สุดด้านแหล่งท่องเที่ยวประเภทมีที่ตั้งถาวร ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2461 เป็นองค์กรที่รวบรวมสมาชิกจากแหล่งท่องเที่ยวชั้นนำและผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจที่เกี่ยวข้องจากกว่า 100 ประเทศ สมาชิกประกอบด้วยผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพจากสวนสนุก ธีมพาร์ค สถานที่ท่องเที่ยว สวนน้ำ รีสอร์ต ศูนย์นันทนาการสำหรับครอบครัว สวนสัตว์ พิพิธภัณฑ์สัตว์น้ำ ศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์ พิพิธภัณฑ์ เรือสำราญ ผู้ผลิต รวมถึงผู้จัดจำหน่ายสินค้าและบริการที่เกี่ยวข้อง

การขึ้นดำรงตำแหน่งประธานสมาคมสวนสนุกโลกของนายวุฒิชัย เหลืองอมรเลิศ จะช่วยนำพาอุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยวของไทยและภูมิภาคเอเชีย โดยเฉพาะภาคแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่มนุษย์สร้างขึ้นให้ได้รับการยอมรับในระดับนานาชาติ รวมถึงเป็นการเปิดโอกาสให้มีการนำองค์ความรู้ด้านการบริหารจัดการ การบริการ มาตรฐานความปลอดภัยระดับโลกมายกระดับแหล่งอุตสาหกรรมสวนสนุกและแหล่งพักผ่อนหย่อนใจของไทยอีกด้วย

นายวุฒิชัย เหลืองอมรเลิศ จะปฏิบัติภารกิจในฐานะประธานสมาคมสวนสนุกโลกตลอดปี พ.ศ. 2567 ก่อนที่จะส่งมอบตำแหน่งต่อให้แก่ คุณเฟรดดี้ มาซิมิลิอาโน่ ผู้ก่อตั้งวันเดอร์วู้ด แหล่งท่องเที่ยวในอิตาลี ในปี พ.ศ. 2568

IAAPA Names Wuthichai Luangamornlert as 2024 Chairman of the Board, 
the First Thai Chairman Since the Establishment in 1918

November 2023: International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) names Mr. Wuthichai Luangamornlert, CEO of Siam Park City Group (the business operator of Siam Amazing Park also known as “Suansiam Bangkok Inland Sea”) and President of the Thai Amusement and Leisure Park Association, as 2024 IAAPA Chairman of the Board. He will be the first Thai Chairman and the second Chairman from Asia continent since the establishment of IAAPA in 1918 or 106 years ago. 

IAAPA is a diverse and dynamic community of global attractions professionals which is the largest international trade association for permanently located attractions. Founded in 1918, IAAPA unifies the attractions community and strives to promote the highest professional standards for excellence and safety around the world. It represents leading industry attractions and supplier companies, consultants, and individual members from more than 100 countries. Members include professionals from amusement parks, theme parks, attractions, water parks, resorts, family entertainment centers, zoos, aquariums, science centers, museums, cruise lines, manufacturers, and suppliers. 

Wuthichai’s chairmanship will indeed reinforce the reputation of Asia’s and Thailand tourism industry, especially man-made attraction, in the international arena and bring about the opportunity to enhance attraction industry standard in terms of management, quality of service and safety. 

Mr. Wuthichai Luangamornlert will serve as 2024 IAAPA Chairman of the Board and his chairmanship will be transferred to Massimiliano Freddi, Founder of the pair of Wonderwood attraction in Italy in 2025.
